How the treatment is organised
The treatment happens in two moments and in between the implant needs to integrate with your bone. It all starts with the evaluation, which is free.
Evaluation with Dr. Godoy, X-rays and a written treatment plan. If your case is ready, the implant is placed. Before you book your trip we confirm how many days you need to be in Nogales.
You spend this period at home, not in Nogales. How long it takes depends on your bone and on whether a graft was needed: Dr. Godoy gives you the estimated date at your evaluation, before you buy anything. We stay in touch on WhatsApp.
3Shape scan, crown designed and milled with CEREC, and placement. You leave with the tooth finished and your invoice with ADA codes.

What the crossing is like
You walk across at the DeConcini port of entry and we pick you up on the Mexican side. You don't drive in Mexico or figure out directions.
There are attended lots next to the port of entry in Nogales, Arizona: Ed's Border Lot, American Valet and UETA are the most used. When you book, we send you a map with the recommended lot.
For stays of less than 72 hours within the border zone, no FMM immigration permit is required. You only need your US passport or passport card to re-enter the United States.
Most of our Arizona patients don't stay overnight. If your appointment is early, you're back in Tucson by the afternoon.
Warranty and backup
What matters most to a patient living 60 miles away: what the warranty covers and which documents you take home.
Prosthetic work carries a laboratory warranty. If a problem appears, we coordinate the review or replacement with you according to the lab's terms.
Before surgery you sign a consent form stating the procedure, its scope, risks and aftercare in writing. You take a copy with you.
We hand you the invoice with the treatment breakdown and ADA codes, plus your X-rays, so you can submit it to your insurer. Reimbursement depends on your plan and on whether your insurer covers treatment performed in Mexico — it's worth confirming with them before you travel.
